It’s a worthy goal for a romance author, wouldn’t you say?
Many of you know that I’m a runner. I’m not fast. I’m not out to win races. I do it for the mental and physical boost that comes from being outdoors and away from my desk. I find it offers a good balance to time spent sitting in front of a keyboard, tapping away on a book.
This April, I’m thrilled to run the London Marathon for a very good cause: The British Heart Foundation.
The BHF finances over a million pounds of research into heart health issues each year. Current projects include developing heart tissue that can be used to regenerate damaged hearts, targeted gene therapy to address inherited disease, and over forty clinical trials. If you know anyone facing heart health issues such as vasculitis, arrhythmia, stroke, or diabetes, chances are their treatment is thanks—at least in part—to work done by BHF.
If you’d like to contribute to this wonderful organization, see their vast library of patient resources, or learn more about what they do visit my BHF Fundraising Page. All donations made via this page go directly to the British Heart Foundation.
In addition, ALL proceeds on sales of all my audiobooks and ebooks at Kobo this month will be donated to this fantastic organization. If you have any Nicole Burnham books on your wish list, this is the time to get them. You get a great story and help a great cause in the process.
This February, let’s work together to beat heartbreak.
